Sage hosted a two-day CRM Boot-camp in the Metropole Hilton in Birmingham this week. There was a large contingent of Sage staff, seventeen I estimate, in attendance for the whole event. Sage management are obviously taking the CRM market very seriously indeed. It’s not surprising as there has been a significant rise, month on month, in interest in this often neglected area.
MCS were very keen to attend this event as they too are convinced that CRM is what their customers will be looking for - especially as we begin to come out of recession.
One of the main themes running through the sessions is that CRM is not just software but is much more significant – it’s a business strategy that crosses and impacts all departments, structures and people in an organisation.
Steve Boyes (Sales Director MCS) who attended the Boot Camp expresses it this way,

“It is clear to us that companies who have survived the recession are now ready to take full advantage of the emerging economic upturn. MCS will be there to provide the right software tools, infrastructures and resources to empower our customers to achieve their goals as we come into a new, post recession era.”
